Anime Evolution presents A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY

Anime Evolution is proud to present A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY on Sunday, July 19th 2015 at UBC’s Chan Centre for the Performing Arts in Vancouver: the finale for the three-day Anime Evolution convention at UBC. The performance time is at 5:30pm.

The producers of Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY have created an intimate experience of FINAL FANTASY music, A New World. Under the direction of conductor Eric Roth, with acclaimed piano soloist Benyamin Nuss and the nimble New World Players 11-piece ensemble, these British Columbia premiere performance will take place in the renowned Chan Shun Concert Hall at the Chan Centre.

The performance is open to the public; ticket prices range from $40-60 CDN. A pass to the Anime Evolution convention is not required to attend the performances.  However, there are special Anime Evolution passes that include admission to the A New World performance and other benefits.  Check animeevolution.com for complete details.

Anime Evolution will be taking place from July 17-19 in the new wing of the Student Union Building at UBC. The convention is dedicated to promoting Japanese animation, manga, gaming, and every kind of related fandom.

***Due to unforeseen complications from construction there will be one “A New World” performance at 5:30pm on Sunday, July 19 at the Chan Shun Concert Hall. All previously purchased tickets will be honored.
