Hitoshi Sakimoto

Hitoshi Sakimoto began composing music for SQUARE ENIX with the tactical RPGs Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together before becoming one of the principal composers for 1997’s fan-favorite FINAL FANTASY TACTICS. He was the primary composer for FINAL FANTASY XII, producing unforgettable themes like “Streets of Rabanastre,” “The Dalmasca Estersand,” and “Eruyt Village.” The STORMBLOOD expansion of the MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV featured a series of raids called Return to Ivalice featuring new arrangements of themes from FINAL FANTASY TACTICS.
